Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)
But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?
So here's a friending meme, in the hopes of creating a solid community of Johnny's fans on Dreamwidth! Copy the text field, fill it all out, and have fun!
And if you want to help the community on Dreamwidth grow (you know you do!) here are some communities that you can get involved in. A lot of them haven't been updated in a long time, but don't let that stop you. If we participate, things will start to happen!

I participate in fandom by: I only write fics ^^; at kaijoufic@LJ. And I'm a co-mod for the Aimiya community on LJ.
Other Asian fandoms?: I used to be pretty active in the Slam Dunk fandom, but that was a LONG time ago. I lurk in the tenipuri fandom still, now.
Other western fandoms? I don't really participate, but I'm super fangirly over BtVS and Firefly/Serenity. And on occasion Doctor Who.
Other interests/hobbies? I love reading and writing zines, I'm a hopeless biblioholic, I love making mix-cds and I like snail mail, oh and I'm a little obsessed with mythology and fairy tales.
What kind of friends are you looking for? Well, since I'm completely new on DW, hopefully I'll find some of my LJ friends here. New friends are great, too! Hmm, people who want to flail together in a fun way, I suppose ^^
