Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)

But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?

So here's a friending meme, in the hopes of creating a solid community of Johnny's fans on Dreamwidth! Copy the text field, fill it all out, and have fun!

And if you want to help the community on Dreamwidth grow (you know you do!) here are some communities that you can get involved in. A lot of them haven't been updated in a long time, but don't let that stop you. If we participate, things will start to happen!

Groups I like: Juniors (especially MSM), Kinki Kids, V6, Shounentai, Hey!Say!JUMP, Sexy Zone.
Favorite members: I'm not much of a 'he's my bias and that's it' kind of person, but some of the boys I never fall out of love with are Nozawa, Kikuchi and Yara. Amongst debuted Johnny's Shige's probably my favourite idol, along with Sato Atsuhiro, Higashiyama, Yabu, Nakamaru and Koichi.
Favorite fandom moments: Everytime I find the latest episode of Shokura in full and in HD.
I participate in fandom by: Occasional writer who would like to write more. If floating around, talking smack about idols counts, I'm all over that -shot-

Other Asian fandoms?: Cocoa Otoko, F.T-Island, Some girlpop, some Jrock (girugamesh especially), some shounen manga (I never seem to stay up-to-date with a series, but I really like Air Gear, FMA, d.grey-man, and a few others), old school Kpop, a little bit of Cpop.
Other western fandoms? I never get super into any Western fandom, but I have love for Dr.Who and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I love horror movies and surreal commedy - I'm watching Psychoville rn and loving it.
Other interests/hobbies? Graduated Language and Cultural Studies student, so floating around Language Log and assorted feminist blogs is how I get my jollies. Also, I'm learning Chinese (and doing it badly :x)

What kind of friends are you looking for? Right now, I only have this dreamwidth that I use for posting pictures on so that my family and rl friends back home can see. However, I'd love to meet a few people around DW to just jabber about fandom stuff with.
