Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)
But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?
So here's a friending meme, in the hopes of creating a solid community of Johnny's fans on Dreamwidth! Copy the text field, fill it all out, and have fun!
And if you want to help the community on Dreamwidth grow (you know you do!) here are some communities that you can get involved in. A lot of them haven't been updated in a long time, but don't let that stop you. If we participate, things will start to happen!

But since Sora (my dragonborn cleric) is my favourite character, (she's a cleric bibliophile who's a bit of an unbeliever - complex character XP) I started to really love playing dragonborns. The 4th Ed dragonborn is very different from the 3.5, so when my group moved to Pathfinder (which is more 3.5 ish) I could no longer play her (T_T). Gotta love those D8s, especially since I have two idiots in my party who keep getting into trouble XD

Date: 2011-12-27 09:12 pm (UTC)Dude, the best characters are complex! I once played an evil cleric bent on world domination who went around masquerading as a good cleric; I made a deal with the DM so not even the other players knew I was evil, LOL. Your dragonborn sounds awesome. :D
If I may ask, why didn't you switch to Pathfinder? That's not a judgy question, I'm just curious. :D

Date: 2011-12-27 11:18 pm (UTC)I love secretly evil characters! And, yeah - I think there were lots of stuff about my character that only my DM and I know about.
As to why I didn't switch, hmm... well, there's a lot of reasons, really, despite the fact that I actually like Pathfinder a lot. But mostly it boils down to being too busy right now :(

Date: 2011-12-28 07:02 am (UTC)Aw, yeah, that's usually what it boils down to: you're busy, the DM's busy, other players are busy, etc. Getting everyone together at one time is the hardest part of playing. :/ Well, good luck finding another group/campaign/time in the future!!
