Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)

But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?

I participate in fandom by: I write a lot of fanfiction, though I've been writer's blocky for a long time and haven't finished much. I've been translating Nino's MORE article for a while and hope to pick it back up again soon. I made icons for a while too, hahaha.

Other Asian fandoms?: (Things I like or pay attention to, if not involved in fandom) Jdramas: Gokusen, Stand Up!!, Densha Otoko, SPEC, Liar Game, Nagareboshi, NazoDi, Nobuta! Toda Erika, Becky, Yoshitaka Yuriko, Kitagawa Keiko, Naka Riisa, Matsuyama Kenichi, Narimiya Hiroki. Perfume, Amuro Namie, Koda Kumi, Utada, KOKIA, Hirasawa Susumu, Ghibli (Arietty and Spirited Away in particular), One Piece, Mawaru Penguindrum.... etc! Lots of random stuff.
Other western fandoms? (Again, things I like/follow) The Closer, NCIS, Modern Family, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance, Big Bang Theory. Adam Lambert, Adele, Britney.
Other interests/hobbies? Nail polish, I am totally addicted to nail polish. I also do a lot of photography. ♥

What kind of friends are you looking for? I'm not someone that posts a whole lot these days, though I always want to do so more. I'm kind of reclusive, but I do like meeting new people! So if you're okay with that, let's be friends.

I can totally relate to your favorite fandom moments! I love when Aiba took Sho on a date and also how Nino's very sneaky crafty style of winning Mannequin 5 as well! Basically, I love everything about Aiba, I guess, so sugoroku and shiodome is no exception!
Also, I love jdramas as well as nail polishes for some odd reason! Mine are orangey sparkly multiglitter nails as of the moment. :)) Random but yeah.
Even though I'm asking to be friends, my DW is pretty much empty as of now so yeah, I'm more on using LJ as of the moment so do you mind if I also add you on LJ?

Toda Erika is glorious. There are people who say she can't act, but they've clearly never paid attention. I never managed to get through her recent drama though... It sorta squicked me out. :( Not her fault!
