Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)

But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?

Groups I like: Arashi and Kanjani8 are my favorites but I'm fond of all the groups from SMAP through NEWS age-wise. I don't have time to follow anyone else.
Favorite members: Sho, Jun, Aiba, Yoko, Maruyama, Kame, Jin, Kimutaku but I can find something to love about pretty much anyone.
Favorite fandom moments: Watching G no Arashi episodes for the first time in 2009 and getting hooked on this stuff

Other interests/hobbies? I have a job I love that keeps me busy. Most of my free time is spent writing and watching tv/dramas. I have no other skill sets LOL.

What kind of friends are you looking for? People who don't want to be friends *just* because I write fanfic. I use my journal for real life stuff, so I don't care what your age is so long as you can communicate intelligently (this means don't chatspeak at me). I really like people who put lengthy posts and pictures behind a cut, too. And if your Internet blogging existence is like an ongoing hate meme, please no.
Misc/Other: Anyone who is already friends with me on LJ gets a free pass so long as I know who you are (if you have a different name here). New friends just need to say hello and who they are. And don't bash Sakumoto to my face because they are my special BFFs and stuff.

I found this meme woefully late, so I don't have a thread here, but your entry here looks interesting to me!

I am primarily a KAT-TUN/Akame fan, and my own fannish posting is pretty Jin/Kame heavy, but I like reading about the other groups and am particularly fond of Yoko and Kimutaku in your list. I'm also looking for people on DW who actually post and are looking to interact / get to know people, not just back up their LJ.
