Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)

But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?

Favorite fandom moments: All of the ridiculous fics and AUs that friends and I have come up with based on the various PVs/photos/magazine articles
I participate in fandom by: writing fic, making icons and graphics, making fst, for the most part. On DW, I post my works over at cromatic and use this account for other posting (whether getting excited over a new PV or complaining about my personal life).

Other Asian fandoms?: I've been into anime and manga for a long time now, but most recently, Prince of Tennis and Bleach, and more importantly, their respective musical counterparts and the actors who go along with them. Also the acting group *pnish* and the little known Johnny' Junior, Sano Mizuki.
Other western fandoms? Nothing that I'm particularly into at the moment. I do like Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes (books and Jeremy Brett series) a lot?
Other interests/hobbies? Ballet/western performance dance styles! Japanese art history and literature! Feminism! (does that count?) Writing! Things that an undergraduate at a liberal arts college likes?

What kind of friends are you looking for? People who are excited about these guys and open minded? People who aren't super dramatic or judgemental and want to be supportive of the guys and enjoy their work? People who don't mind long, rambling posts about fandom/meta?
Misc/Other: I haven't been good about upkeeping my personal DW but I hope to improve! Sorry that it's a bit empty right now...

Oh, sorry! Yes, that's me, and I'm also mirai-for-you on tumblr~ I'm really sorry about the readability issue... I know a lot of people have trouble with my layout, but reading on a white background for too long gives me a headache D: so I hope the chromatic one works for you okay.

I haven't posted much in the way of meta because I felt like no one really cares (I have a lot of ~discussions~ with friends XD) but I figured I'd warn for it because I've been known to write essays about past fandoms. |D but I'll try to post more in the future!

for me the problem is that it's too small. XD i suspect you use a much larger screen than i do. (on dreamwidth i use the black-background, so that makes it easier!) but yay! i will probably forget the connection at some point. XD i'm sorry. XD
