Are you tired of all the changes on LJ? It can be a love/hate relationship. Maybe you've thought about moving over to Dreamwidth but have refrained because fandom's not moving anytime soon. (Or if you're like me, you made a journal in case of mass exodus and now it's sitting and collecting dust.)

But what if there was community movement? What if you got new friends out of the deal, a lot of people who like the same things you do?

So here's a friending meme, in the hopes of creating a solid community of Johnny's fans on Dreamwidth! Copy the text field, fill it all out, and have fun!

Oh, there is. There's an import feature that will queue all your entries and the comments in your entries, and also bring over your icons. :) Very easy. There's a bit of a backlog at the moment because of the exodus, but the DW staff are keeping us updated in the news community. Go ahead and take a look at the FAQs if you want to know more about importing. :)

What kind of friends are you looking for? Former friends on LJ who have recently moved to dreamwidth; people close to my age with similar interests and hobbies.
Misc/Other: My updates tend to be sporadic and I'm often rambly in my personal entries. Um, also, I decided to do this so that people who know the other statr on lj won't be adding my dw by mistake :3 I've had this username since 2009 and I don't really know how to change it without having to pay for anything.

Favorite fandom moments: THE CRACK! The sharing of crack; watching our boys' cracky dramas - the joy we get from making fun of them, basically. Hahaha!

Misfits, HIMYM, Leverage, Once Upon A Time, New Girl, American Horror Story (I'm in the middle of watching it, actually), Criminal Minds, Bones, That 70s Show, Friends of course!, I would say Skins generation 1 (because the succeeding sucks!), The IT Crowd, Coupling, Psych... yep, that's it. Haha!
Other interests/hobbies? Guitar playing man! And music - particularly classic rock and rock music in general but saying that makes me feel like a douche now, so I'll just say I love music. Led Zeppelin = greatest band ever imo. Fall Out Boy changed my life. I can listen to Yeah Yeah Yeahs forever. John Mayer = douche but damn. I'm interested in film making too, and all that production stuff. I'm actually majoring in communications rn, and I'm not gonna deny it, I'm a slacker! Also, graphic design (no, not really; it's just photoshop) and infographics - anything pretty stimulates me.

I don't remember which episode it was exactly, although I think the other member babysitting with him was Aiba. It was the same episode where Aiba tried to trick the kids into eating green peppers (I think, I could be wrong).

Um, tbh, I'm still not sure about moving to DW and I'm still waiting for my import from LJ to be finished but I see some of my friends here and figure that I'll give DW a try and see how it goes :)
